Your Role This is a completely autonomous, hands-on role for a technician who loves variety and high-end tech. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be the "boots on the ground" across multiple customer sites. The Tech: Install, maintain, and repair everything from robotics and PLCs to carton erectors and conveyors. The Challenge: Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues to keep advanced automation at peak performance. The Variety: Spend your days on new machinery commissioning, technology upgrades, and delivering operator training. About You You are a "switched-on" tradesperson who takes ownership of your work and thrives in a safety-focused environment. Must-haves: A-Grade Electrical Licence: Current and valid-this is essential for your trade excellence. Industrial Experience: Solid post-trade experience in field service, maintenance, or installations. Control Systems: Proficiency with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Omron) and touchscreen interfaces. Mechanical Aptitude: Strong skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical components. The Blueprint: Ability to interpret AutoCAD schematics and technical manuals to solve complex problems. Nice to haves: Robotics: Experience with robotics programming or modifications. Manufacturing Background: Experience specifically within factory maintenance or packaging technologies.
